The latest name added to the list of general manager candidates for the Tennessee Titans is Kansas City Chiefs director of football operations Chris Ballard.
An NFL source confirmed to TitanInsider that Ballard, 48, is on the Titans list of candidates, which has been growing since Ruston Webster was relieved of his duties on Monday.
Ballard was promoted to his current position in Kansas City last may after having been the team’s director of player personnel.

Ballard is well thought of in the Chiefs organization as a right-hand man to general manager John Dorsey, who has final say over personnel in Kansas City.
Ballard’s name joins a growing list of candidates that includes former Lions general manager Martin Mayhew and a number of front office executives that includes the Giants’ Marc Ross, the Bucs’ Jon Robinson, the Jaguars Chris Polian and the Titans own director of college scouting Blake Beddingfield.
