Nose tackle Al Woods, who was released last week by the Tennessee Titans, has agreed to a deal with the Indianapolis Colts.
Woods, 29, will be staying in the AFC South, joining the rival Colts, who have been working this off-season to upgrade their defense and the supporting cast around quarterback Andrew Luck.
Woods is the second former Titan to land in Indianapolis this off-season, as center/guard Brian Schwenke joined the Colts earlier this week as an unrestricted free agent.
Woods, who had signed a three-year extension last off-season with Tennessee, had been due a roster bonus from the Titans as the new league year was to begin, but was released rather than the team paying that money.
The Titans then agreed to a deal with former Denver Broncos nose tackle Sylvester Williams. Williams will compete for time at nose tackle along with second-year players Austin Johnson and Antwaun Woods.
