Defensive end Karl Klug is not taking part in OTAs as he recovers from left Achilles surgery from a December injury last season.
Klug, who re-signed with the Titans in the off-season, has been running now for a couple of weeks and is working on his take offs from his stance as well.
“I’m just trying to win each day and get better each week. I’ve been running the last couple of weeks, doing sprints, some get-offs and stuff like that,” Klug said.
While he would not disclose a timetable for his return to action, Klug’s goal is to be back on the field by training camp if possible.
“It’s coming along good. I”m doing more and more each week. I don’t enjoy watching practice. It’s not fun, so I’m definitely looking forward to getting back with the guys,” he said. “I can’t really speak on that fully, but it would be nice to be back by camp, for sure.”
In addition to Klug, nose tackle Sylvester Williams (ankle), tight end Tim Semisch (knee) and linebacker Kevin Dodd (foot) were out of practice Tuesday.
Running back DeMarco Murray and wide receiver Tajae Sharpe were both absent from practice as well.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Corey Davis was back in team drills as Coach Mike Mularkey had promised last week. Davis has been limited with an ankle injury.
Quarterback Marcus Mariota also took one shotgun snap in team drills.
