Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Karl Klug left Sunday’s come-from-behind win over Kansas City with what was reported as a left ankle injury on the television broadcast.
However, Klug, who sat out practices on Wednesday and Thursday to rest a strained left Achilles, coule possibly have to deal with that injury again, as the injury was to the same leg.
“Klug is probably the most serious injury,” Titans coach Mike Mularkey said of four Titans players who left the game on Sunday.
Cornerback Jason McCourty left the game very early with a shoulder injury and did not return.
Also, safety Da’Norris Searcy and tight end Phillip Supernaw both left the contest with concussions and did not return. Both will have to go into the league’s protocol.
