Cornerback LeShaun Sims sat out Wednesday’s practice for the Tennessee Titans with a groin injury sustained during Monday’s work.
Also, left tackle Taylor Lewan twisted his ankle on Wednesday and did not finish the practice session.
Both players were described as “day-to-day” with their injuries, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.
“(I did it in) a special teams drill,” Sims said. “I hope (to go Sunday), but we’ll see tomorrow.”
If Sims is not able to go, then rookie first-round pick Adoree’ Jackson would seem to be the favorite to play Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
Mularkey indicated that he is not worried about either player at this point being able to go on Sunday.
“Taylor Lewan has got a little tweak of his ankle,” Mularkey said.
