Cornerback Logan Ryan is inactive today for the Tennessee Titans against the Los Angeles Rams due to an ankle injury.

Ryan suffered the injury in last week’s game at San Francisco and did not practice all week. Brice McCain will start in his place and Tye Smith is likely to come in as the third cornerback with LeShaun Sims going on injured reserve this week due to a hamstring injury. Kalan Reed, who has been inactive each game since being up for the season opener, is active today as well.

Ryan came to the Titans as a free agent this off-season from the New England Patriots, signing a three-year, $30 million deal. He has helped to improve a Titans secondary that will face a challenge today from the Rams potent offense.

Other inactives for the Titans include quarterback Brandon Weeden, receiver Harry Douglas, defensive lineman David King newly signed cornerback Demontre Hurst, guard Corey Levin and linebacker Josh Carraway.
