Kicker Ryan Succop agree to a five-year, $20 million extension with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday.
Succop was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent next month, but agrees to a new contract that guarantees him $7.5 million and pays him $8.5 million in the first two years of the contract.
Succop, 31, came to the Titans in 2014 after being released by the Kansas City Chiefs. In his four seasons in Tennessee, he has made 90 of 104 overall field goal tries and has hit on all 45 of his attempts from inside 40 yards.
Succop set an NFL record by making 56 straight kicks from inside 50 yards, a streak that carried over multiple seasons until coming to an end this past season.
In his nine-year NFL career, Succop has connected on 209 of 251 field goal tries and on 286 of 292 extra point attempts.
