Taylor Lewan recalls off-season conversation with Jon Robinson

Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan, now headed to his first Pro Bowl and regarded as one of the top left tackles in the NFL, recalled to A to Z Sports the off-season conversation he had with general manager Jon Robinson.

In that conversation, Lewan reiterated to his boss that the Titans didn’t need a left tackle, that he was quite capable of staying there and playing at a high level.

Evidently, Robinson put some stock in what Lewan had to say because the Titans drafted Jack Conklin to play right tackle, leaving Lewan on the left, and both had solid seasons in 2016.
