Tennessee Titans guard Quinton Spain was drugged and robbed in Orlando, Fla., by a woman, who took more than $100,000 worth of valuables from him.
Spain was in Orlando last week for the Pro Bowl, visiting with Titans teammates. According to a police report obtained by TitanInsider.com, Spain and some of his teammates were out at the Vyce Lounge in Orlando and decided to leave in the early hours of Jan. 27. According to the report, Spain met a black female in the bar and as they were leaving, she accompanied them to another club, called the Play Haus Nightclub.
After leaving there at around 4:30 a.m., the woman went with Spain to his hotel at the Marriott Springhill Suites and they began drinking some Hennessy that he had inside the room..
The report said Spain told police that when the woman made his second drink, that he did not remember anything else after he got into bed.
Spain awoke around 8 a.m., and when he did the woman was gone, and so was his Rolex watch and two gold chains. The watch and one of the chains were in Spain’s pants pockets, while a gold “dog tag” chain with his initials “QLS” was taken from a drawer inside the hotel room. The items were valued at around $113,000, and Spain told police that they were not insured.
Spain was not the only victim of such robberies, as two other similar incidents apparently involving different women also took place in Orlando during Pro Bowl week.
Spain, a starting left guard for the Titans in 2016, was part of a resurgent offensive line that helped Tennessee improve to 9-7 this past season. He was signed by the Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2015 out of West Virginia.
