Brian Orakpo to miss second straight game

The Tennessee Titans could potentially be thin at outside linebacker on Saturday when they host the Washington Redskins.
Veteran Brian Orakpo, a former Redskins player, will miss his second straight game after not practicing all week due to an elbow injury suffered against Jacksonville. Rookie Sharif Finch is out with a shoulder injury sustained on Sunday against the Giants.
Coach Mike Vrabel said that rookie inside linebacker Rashaan Evans could help out on the outside if needed, and the Titans also promoted linebacker Nigel Harris from the practice squad to the 53-man roster to give them a bit of depth at the position.
The Titans’ corresponding move was to place running back David Fluellen on injured reserve. Fluellen, who could have been shelved weeks ago with the injury, did some limited work in practice this week for the first time since hurting the knee against New England.
Also, tight end Cole Wick will be out again with a shoulder injury.
There is some good news, however, in that inside linebacker Wesley Woodyard, who appeared on the injury report on Wednesday with a back injury, is expected to play. Defensive end Jurrell Casey (knee) practiced Thursday and has no designation. Safety Kenny Vaccaro, who left the game vs. the Giants with a concussion, has no designation either, meaning he should clear the protocol in time to play against the Redskins.
On the offensive side of the ball, receiver Tajae Sharpe is listed as questionable this week with an ankle injury that has bothered him for several games now.
