Not surprisingly two of the Titans top weapons this season were named to the Pro Bowl on Tuesday night.
Running back Derrick Henry has 1,329 yards with 13 rushing touchdowns this season. He has added four more receiving touchdowns this season with 18 receptions on 206 yards. This is Henry’s first Pro Bowl selection.
Henry has been the focal point of the Titans offense this season, as he had a streak of four consecutive 100-yard rushing games broken last week against Houston when he had 86 yards.
Also, punter Brett Kern was selected to the Pro Bowl for the third straight year. Kern is averaging 47.5 yards per punt on 67 kicks for the Titans. Kern has a net average of 43.6 yards per punt and has placed 34 kicks inside the opponent’s 20-yard line.
According to the Titans official website, quarterback Ryan Tannehill, cornerback Logan Ryan, safety Kevin Byard, defensive lineman Jurrell Casey, guard Rodger Saffold and long snapper Beau Brinkley are all alternates in varying order for the Pro Bowl.
The game will be played in Orlando, Fla., on Jan. 25.
