So how did the rumor of Tom Brady and Gisele visiting Nashville last week get started?
According to Nashville attorney Blair Durham, whose son attends Montgomery Bell Academy, the rumors got started because of a mistaken identity involving former Titans lineman Steve Hutchinson, who was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.
Durham relayed this story on “The George Plaster Show” on WNSR-AM 560 on Monday about how the Brady rumors were first fueled. (Full disclosure: I am a co-host on the Plaster Show.)
“My son goes to MBA and the Tom Brady rumors that happened that he and Gisele were touring MBA, how that happened, a sophomore kid goes down to their admissions director and asks his assistant if he can meet with them,” Durham told the station. “She says, ‘He is currently meeting with a Hall of Famer.’ Steve Hutchinson’s son, Luke, is touring MBA and is in the office, and Steve Hutchinson’s wife, Landon, is a very pretty blonde that this 10th grader mistakes for Gisele, and it snowballed from there.”
Today, we got to the bottom of last week’s rumors surrounding Tom Brady and/or Gisele reportedly seen touring MBA in Nashville.

So is this how the rumors of Brady and Gisele getting ready to relocate to Music City with the future Hall of Famer becoming the Tennessee Titans next quarterback got started?
Who knows? It’s certainly as plausible a story as any.
The rumor, though it had no truth to it, took on a life of its own last week before finally being dispelled and quieted.
It just goes to show you how rumors can get started – especially in the social media dominated world we live in.
