Rookie wide receiver Tajae Sharpe will play in tonight’s game for the Tennessee Titans against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Sharpe, who was limited in practice on Tuesday with a sprained knee suffered Sunday against the Colts, was put through a 15 to 20 minute workout about two hours before game time with general manager Jon Robinson and head coach Mike Mularkey watching the proceedings.
The news isn’t as good for another rookie as linebacker Kevin Dodd will be inactive after being questionable due to his sore right foot. Dodd had surgery in May to have a screw inserted into the foot and began to experience soreness there of late.
Other inactives for the Titans tonight include tight end Jace Amaro, receiver Harry Douglas, guard Quinton Spain, cornerback Perrish Cox, safety Rashad Johnson and defensive tackle Austin Johnson.\
Inactive for the Jaguars tonight are quarterback Brandon Allen, running back Corey Grant, receiver Rashad Greene, tackle Bryce Harris, defensive end Jared Odrick and tight end Neal Sterling.
That means that tight end Julius Thomas, who was questionable with an ankle injury coming into the game, will be active for Jacksonville.
