Titans add edge rusher D’Andre Walker

The Tennessee Titans finally addressed their need for additional help in the pass rush department, taking Georgia outside linebacker D’Andre Walker with their fifth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Walker, the 168th pick overall in the draft, slid in 2018. One reason for his drop in the draft, after he had been projected to go a couple of rounds higher in a lot of projections, was due to a knee injury and sports hernia surgery that kept him from working out at the NFL Combine and at his pro day.
Walker joins a revamped Titans outside linebacker group that lost Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan after last season. Tennessee signed veteran edge rusher Cameron Wake in free agency.
Walker joins Wake, last year’s second-round pick Harold Landry, second-year pro Shariff Finch and Komalei Correa as the Titans players on the edge.
Walker, 6-3, 245, had 7.5 sacks for Georgia last season along with 11 tackles for loss and 14 quarterback pressures.
