The Tennessee Titans claimed veteran cornerback Tramaine Brock off waivers from the Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday.
Brock, 31, was let go by the Cardinals on Monday. He played in 10 games for Arizona this season, including seven starts. Brock has 37 tackles and three passes defensed this season.
The Titans waived center Hroniss Grasu to make room for Brock on the roster per a source.
Brock broke in with the San Francisco 49ers in 2010 and spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with them. Since then, however, he has bounced around, going to the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos before landing with the Cardinals this season. He spent one season with each of those franchises.
The Titans have gotten thin in the secondary, losing Malcolm Butler for the season with a wrist injury and playing without LeShaun Sims in Sunday’s win over the Colts due to an ankle injury.
The Titans lost Adoree’ Jackson in the first half against Indianapolis with a knee injury, leaving Tennessee to finish the game with Tye Smith and Kareem Orr, who had just been promoted to the practice squad.
