Titans, Delanie Walker agree on $17 million extension

Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker has agreed to a two-year contract extension Friday worth $17 million.

Walker, who turns 34 this year, will receive an $8 million signing bonus from the club and will have $12.76 million in guaranteed money from the deal, according to a league source.

It is the third contract for Walker to sign with the Titans as he joined them as a free agent in 2013. Walker has been a standout performer since joining the club, making two Pro Bowls and catching 356 passes for 4,156 yards and 26 touchdowns since coming to Tennessee.

Walker’s contract extension comes just hours after Titans general manager Jon Robinson completed a five-year, $80 million extension with left tackle Taylor Lewan.
