Titans place Jurrell Casey, Ryan Succop, Jonnu Smith on PUP

The Tennessee Titans placed defensive tackle Jurrell Casey, tight end Jonnu Smith and kicker Ryan Succop on the active physically unable to perform list on Monday, three days ahead of the full squad reporting for training camp.
Also, the Titans placed first-round pick Jeffery Simmons, who is recovering from a torn ACL suffered before the Titans drafted him, on the non-football injury list.
Casey sustained a knee injury late last season that kept him out of the season finale against the Colts, and has been extremely limited through off-season work,
Smith, who suffered a knee injury in December as well, missed the Titans’ final four games of last year and has not taken part in any work during OTAs and mini-camps.
Succop’s injury has not been disclosed by the team. In years past, the kicker has battled groin issues at time. He did not take part in any of the team’s OTA or mini-camp work either.
The good news for the Titans is that tight end Delanie Walker (broken fibula) and right tackle Jack Conklin (knee), both of whom missed time last year with injuries, both passed their physicals.
Players who were injured in the off-season, quarterbacks and rookies reported to the team on Monday.
