The Tennessee Titans have re-signed cornerback Demontre Hurst, who was cut after preseason, but brought back to the active roster for one week while Logan Ryan was nursing an injury.
Hurst was signed back to the active roster in December when the Titans were short-handed at cornerback with Ryan nursing an ankle injury and LeShaun Sims having been lost with a hamstring injury.
Hurst has spent most of his time in the NFL with the Chicago Bears, where he played and spent time on the practice squad after signing as an undrafted rookie in 2013.
Hurst, who played college football at Oklahoma, was a four-year starter for the Sooners.
In the NFL, he has 55 career tackles, one sack, two interceptions and 11 special teams tackles. He should compete for a backup spot in the secondary during training camp in 2018.
