Titans safety Marqueston Huff suspended for season opener

Tennessee Titans safety Marqueston Huff has been suspended for the team’s regular season opener for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

Huff will miss the Titans opener against the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 11 and will be eligible to be reinstated to the roster on Sept. 12.

Huff, 24, was a fourth-round pick from Wyoming by the Titans in 2014.

The third-year safety is eligible to participate in all practice and preseason games, as the suspension will take effect on the Monday before the regular season begins.
