Titans take LB David Long in sixth round

With their final pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans drafted linebacker David Long, Jr. of West Virginia.
Long, 5-11, 223, was the 188th overall pick in the draft and was the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, as well as a second-team All-America selection.
The weakside linebacker led the Mountaineers with 111 tackles last season and figures to cut his teeth at the NFL level by playing on special teams.
Long had 19 tackles for loss last year and had six games with 10 or more tackles in 2018.
While the Titans are set with Rashaan Evans, Wesley Woodyard and Jayon Brown (nickel linebacker) at the top of the depth chart at inside linebacker, Long will have a chance to settle in in a backup role or the Titans.
Long is the son of former heavyweight boxer David Long, Sr.
