The Tennessee Titans released their preseason schedule, which has them playing three NFC opponents and the Pittsburgh Steelers in their exhibition games.
The Titans open the preseason at the Green Bay Packers during the weekend of Aug. 9-12, then come home to Nissan Stadium to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the following weekend.
In week three of the preseason, the Titans are back on the road to Pittsburgh before closing things out with a home game against the Minnesota Vikings on Aug. 30.
While starters don’t usually play a lot in preseason, it will be a chance to see how the Titans measure up against four quality quarterbacks (provided the starters see some action).
The Titans are scheduled to face off against Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers, who is returning from shoulder surgery that cost him most of last season.
In the preseason home opener, it will be a matchup of the top two picks from the 2015 draft with Jameis Winston and the Bucs coming to town to face Marcus Mariota and the Titans.
The Titans would face veteran Ben Roethlisberger in week three, and provided that the starters play at all in week four could see Vikings prized free agent pickup Kirk Cousins.
